Do you set yourself up for success?

Stop and think for a moment - Do you set yourself up for success in your life?


Or do you just throw a wish and a prayer out there in hopes it will all work itself out?


People look at me crazy when I say that I wake up everyday during the week at 4:30 am to workout. Most can't imagine waking up that early let-alone to workout. So how do I do it?


Consistency. Routine. And setting myself up for success.

I lay out my workout clothes in the living room every night before I go to bed. That way when my alarm goes off I get up and get out there to change and get started.

I set up an empty cup for my pre-workout and fill up my water bottle to chill in the fridge overnight. As little fumbling around in the dark house at 4:30 am the better.


These little steps are keys to keeping myself on track and consistent in my morning routine. They may seem silly or even unnecessary to most, but they are crucial to my mornings. Just as my workouts are.


What steps can you take to set yourself up for success everyday?
